I haven’t really done a ‘journal comic’ in a long time, so I figured maybe I should start up again. So long as I can figure out comic-worthy things.

This. Very much. It’s mostly why I have no interest in following a graphic design career anymore. Inspiration is at a minimum and working with designers and clients gives me hives.

Big Cartel Shop Now Open!

I’ve got a bigcartel shop open now, for anyone who is interested in some of my cards/prints. I’m hoping to have more to offer once my printer is finally shipped from New York. (The thing is huge, so it’s a bit of a burden, and if some of these sell, it’ll help cut the cost of shipping the printer.)

Solution to the back pain…

So, as I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been having quite a bit of back pain lately from sitting in my chair.

Well, Katherine was listening to some music, and I started booty shaking and figured out a temporary relief for the pain.

I think I need a more permanent solution though…

I’ve been reworking this design in Illustrator, while simultaneously trying to learn Illustrator.

But, I submitted it for critiques on Threadless, because I’m looking to hopefully submit it as a design there, because I think it’d make for a great t-shirt.

Yoda on Dagobah.

I was always a fan of Yoda from the original trilogy. He was much more endearing. It made way more sense for him to be one with everything/the force, while still having a bit of a sense of humor about it all.

Just wanted to say thanks (or fangs as my dino-creature decided to say) to all my awesome followers. Somehow managed to get passed 3000 this weekend. Which is mind-boggling!

So thanks, everyone! Hope you continue digging my drawings.

Time for wallpapers!

For now, they’re available in 1280 x 800 and 1440 x 900.

I’ll do more sizes if there’s more demand for them. It’s just time consuming, so I did them in the two most commonly used sizes. Both sizes are included in a zipped file for each creature comic.

If you click on the quoted text, you’ll see what the comic strip looked like (the wallpaper may vary a little bit from the original comic strip, because I went through and made them a bit more uniform.) and then the “here.” links to mediafire where you can download the zipped file for that creature comic.
